The Club Performance Report provides an overview of membership growth and attrition, allowing you to compare the number of members who joined against those who cancelled over a selected reporting period.
The report includes an Attrition Percentage graph together with the figures used to calculate the attrition rate.
Navigate to:
Reports > General > Club Performance
Select the Reporting Period
At the top of the report, choose how you want to view the club's performance.
Available options are:
- Month
- Quarter
- Annual
- Date Range
Select the required option to change the period used for the report.
Membership Category
Use the Membership Category filter to restrict the report to a particular membership category.
Leave this set to All to include all membership categories.
Select View Report to apply your selections.
Attrition Percentage
The graph provides a visual representation of the club's Attrition Percentage for each reporting period.
This makes it easier to identify:
- periods where attrition increased
- periods where attrition decreased
- changes in cancellation levels over time
- overall membership retention trends
Understanding the Report
The table displays the figures used to calculate club performance and attrition.
Club
Displays the club included in the report.
Month
Displays the reporting period.
Starting Total
Displays the number of members at the beginning of the reporting period.
Joined
Displays the number of members who joined during the reporting period.
Cancelled
Displays the number of memberships cancelled during the reporting period.
Attrition Calculation
Displays the figures used to calculate the attrition percentage.
The calculation shown in the report is:
Cancelled ÷ Starting Total
For example:
34 ÷ 1006 = 3.38%
Attrition
Displays the resulting attrition percentage for that period.
Totals
A Total row is displayed at the bottom of the report, providing combined figures for the periods shown, including:
- Starting Total
- Joined
- Cancelled
Downloading the Report
Select the Download icon in the top-right corner to export the report information.
Common Uses
The Club Performance Report can be used to:
- monitor membership attrition
- compare cancellations from month to month
- review the number of members joining the club
- identify periods with unusually high or low attrition
- review performance by Membership Category
- compare club performance by Month, Quarter, Annual period or Date Range
- assist with membership retention planning
- download club performance information for further review
