This guide explains how to configure your club’s email address for sending and receiving emails through Clubfit.
By default, emails are sent from noreply@clubfit.net.au. Completing the steps below allows you to send emails from your own domain (e.g. info@yourclub.com.au), improving professionalism and deliverability.
⚠️ Important Requirements
- The email must be a domain-based email address
(e.g. info@myfitnessclub.com.au) - Free email providers such as Gmail, Hotmail, or Outlook are not supported
📩 Step 1: Contact Support
Contact the Clubfit Support Team and provide:
- The email address you would like to use
You will then be provided with DNS verification records (unique to your club).
🔐 Step 2: Add DNS Records (DKIM Setup)
You will receive a record similar to the following:
Record Type: TXT
Hostname: scph0326._domainkey.yourdomain.com.au
Value: (unique DKIM key provided by support)
Eg. v=DKIM1; k=rsa; h=sha256; p=MIGfMA0GCSqGSIb3DQEBAQUAA4GNADCBiQKBgQDA6n9iX0u9hRsCy3yigsOtLKeFk4abxHcbLyRFeP9jm3jbEh3AWM6KEpfLce3LBKN/nB/5hIsR8vAoKemLCYB
⚠️ These records are unique and must be added exactly as provided
⚠️ They expire after 2 weeks if not completed
⚙️ Step 3: Update Your Domain Settings
- Log in to your domain hosting/DNS provider
- Navigate to your DNS management settings
- Add a new TXT record using the details provided
- Save your changes
⏱️ DNS updates can take up to 24–48 hours to propagate
✅ Step 4: Confirm Setup
Once the DNS record has been added:
- Contact Clubfit Support to confirm
- The team will:
- Verify your domain
- Configure your email address
- Test functionality
🎉 Result
Once complete:
- Emails will be sent from your custom email address
- Members will see your club’s email instead of the default
- Email deliverability and trust will improve
💡 Why this matters
Setting up DKIM verification:
- Helps prevent emails going to spam
- Improves email security and trust
- Ensures reliable delivery to members
